Patricia Asero

Board Chair Person

Patricia is the Chairperson of ICWK and a team lead at DACASA. Has over 30 years’ experience in the HIV field. She is an advocate for SRHR, HUMAN RIGHTS and STAUNCH advocate of Access to medicines.

Dorothy Omollo

Patron

Dorothy holds a Degree and Masters in Education.. She holds a PhD in communication studies (Health and Development Communication). She is a lecturer at the University of Nairobi; an independent consultant in Language education, HIV/AIDS community interventions, organizational development for CSOs working in the health sector. Dorothy has extensive experience consulting in Health policy development and analysis and Gender mainstream in HIV/AIDS.

Adeline Jelagat Koech

Vice-Chairperson

Adeline is the youngest board member of ICWK, at 24, born with HIV she is an inspiration to other younger people. She views herself as a lady of substance. After acquiring vast knowledge from a leadership training supported by AWDF/ICWK, she has become an advocate of self-love for and by women. She is a counselor and currently studying community development and social work.

Christina H. Makumi

ED & Board Secretary

Meet our ED who also doubles up as the Secretary of the ICW Board. Christina holds a B.Ed in Home science & Technology and a Masters degree in Public Health -Nutrition (MPH) with additional background in Research and Project Management. She is an advocate for healthy lifestyle choices through the medium of nutrition geared toward achieving optimal health of populations and target groups.

Salome Wambui Nyoike

Treasurer

Wambui is the treasurer of ICWK, a counselor, an activist and an advocate for behavior change. She has been involved in the HIV response and living positively for over 20 years. She is among the pioneers of ICWK and a mother.

Jane Adero

Member

Jane Adero is a seasoned PLHIV advocate, she possesses a vast wealth of experience in community based care and support for people affected and infected by HIV and AIDS. She is a woman living with HIV from Nakuru County.

Kauthar Bitok

Member

Kauthar Bitok has a diploma in Gender based Violence, Stigma and Discrimination. She works as a children’s officer, a community health care giver and an access to treatment advocate..
