ICW-Kenya Board Chairperson, Particia Asero on Ramogi TV on International Widows Day, 2022. #InternationalWidowsDay2022
To commemorate the International Widows Day, ICW-Kenya Chapter board chairperson, Patricia Asero was hosted on Ramogi Tv where she addressed issues that are still affecting Widows in Kenya.
The F.I.E.R.C.E Awardee, 2021, highlighted that land dis-inheritance among widows is still an issue because they are thought of as a lost cause if they are given the land. Patricia added that young widows should be allowed to re-marry.
International Widows Day is commemorated every year on 23rd June.
